Queen Elizabeths' Childhood
Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary childhood began when she was born on the 21st of April 1926, in a humble house on 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair, London, United Kingdom. At the age of 4, Queen Elizabeth had gotten a sister, who would later become known as Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. The parents of Queen Elizabeth were Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon and King George VI. Up to the age of seven, Queen Elizabeth was educated by her mother in reading and writing. Later on, a governess named Marion Crawford (an Edinburgh graduate) became the nanny for Elizabeth, and as nanny, she would teach and take care of them. After King George accepted the throne in 1936, Queen Elizabeth became his heir, and because she was soon to become queen, she began studying to prepare for her future royal duties. Queen Elizabeth studied constitutional history moreover law by Henry Marten.
